Next week President Obama is giving a speech geared specifically to students.  He has even asked principals to allow students to tune in to hear the speech.  Some parents are outraged.  And they have every right to be.  I mean, seriously, why should we let our kids watch this crap when there is a perfectly good episode of "Gossip Girl" on?

Why are parents getting so upset about Obama's speech? I'm with you. Why won't they let them watch our President but they'll let them watch American Idol and Family Guy?

Absolutely, why are we listening to the guy we ELECTED less than a year ago. This is time we can use burning books, stoning unwed mothers and arresting gays on temple square. Maybe we should insist on equal time for glenn beck, sean hannity and Rush Limbaugh. You know, the TRUE americans !

I'm letting making kids watch. I think all kids should. It will be a message of chasing your dreams. Either party should respect that.

I don't support Obama. I think his policies so far have been extreme and one-sided. However I'm not going to protest his speech to America's youth. I'm sure his message will be positive. Our kids need to hear something positive.
